Relics & Rarities is a weekly Dungeons & Dragons based web series, created by Deborah Ann Woll and hosted by Geek & Sundrynote and Nerdist on their shared platform 'Project Alpha'. Set in the titular curio shop, the show revolves around four adventurers recruited by the shop into a brigade of the same name, as they set out on adventures and try to save the realm. Each week, they are joined by a special guest, also recruited by the R&R brigade to assist them on their missions.
First airing in February of 2019, Relics & Rarities was met with acclaim from viewers, with many comparing the first episode to Scooby-Doo, with its usage of puzzles and riddles providing many twists and turns for the players. The show has also been praised for its set design, which changes every week and features many strange items for the players to utilize in their ventures.

- Bookcase Passage: The set itself contains one.
- Bury Your Gays: Averted, ultimately.
- The Caper: Episode three revolves around one of these.

Our main heroes, a Ragtag Bunch of Misfits called together via a secret letter from Professor Roundland.
Veros
Played by: Tommy Walker
A human fighter known for his good looks. Not the most intelligent in the party, but certainly the most enthusiastic.
- Bash Brothers: With Beryl; he claims to have 'great respect” for her, and even calls her his “sister in arms”.
- Badass Baritone: His actor, Tommy Walker, uses one when voicing him.
- Blue Blood: So the rumors say.
- Boisterous Bruiser: Absolutely.
- The Casanova: Claims to be, though whether it's true is up for debate.
- Catchphrase: “Let it marinate,” when he has a particularly controversial idea.
- Chick Magnet: According to Beryl.
- Dumb Jock: Naturally.
- Large Ham: Very much so.
- Veros:Suck on that, ratface!
Beryl the Brutal
Played by: Jasmine Bhullar
A half-orc barbarian with a love of combat and a spiritual outlook on the world.
- The Alcoholic: Has expressed a love for ale and carries a flask into battle.
- An Axe to Grind: Her primary weapon.
- Bash Brothers: With Veros; the two often fight back to back.
- I See Dead People: Is able to call upon a spirit called Chief to aid her in battle; apparently this is quite normal in her tribe.
- Contralto of Danger: Jasmine Bhullar uses a much deeper voice as Beryl, who is certainly dangerous, considering she once sawed the head off a shark, put the head on her fist, and punched another shark with it.
- Gentle Giant: Downplayed, she’s a barbarian, but is also rather softly spoken and empathetic.
- The Lad-ette: A tall, muscular woman with a love for ale and combat; she describes her triceps as 'beautiful'.
- Large Ham: Not as much as Veros, but she does rip a shark's head off. And punches another shark with it. Several times.
- The Stoic: More so than Veros
Rikki Huckster
Played by: Xander Jeanneret
A gnomish druid with a love of potions and money.
- Alchemy Is Magic: Uses a variety of potions to assist the party in battle.
- Ambiguously Gay: Spends some time admiring Veros’s calf muscles, and attempts to flirt with Seamus.
- Cool Hat: Gains them on two separate occasions- one in episode two, note and one in episode three. note
- Green Thumb: As a druid, naturally. This came in handy when searching for the hidden ones.
- Kleptomaniac Hero: Perhaps even more so than Annabella- he's the first of the party to ask about payment for their exploits, and threatens to leave Pineswallow Valley when he finds out they have no currency.
- Like Brother and Sister: Him and Annabella have their moments.
- Near-Death Experience: He is cursed in episode four, and nearly died from it, before being saved by Professor Roundland- tragically foreshadowing Annabella's death in the next episode.
- Voluntary Shapeshifting: As a druid, he is able to wild-shift into a frog in order to escape a shark
Annabella
Played by: Julia Dennis
A human bard with a penchant for deceit and making up songs, with varying success rates.
- Back from the Dead: Killed by Ulu episode 5, but is brought back in episode 6.
- Bash Brothers: With Beryl in episode 3, when they garroted a shark together.
- Blood Knight: Well...
- Annabella: Can we saw the shark in half?
- Consummate Liar: Successfully deceives Doctor Akiva, on numerous occasions.
- The Medic: Acts as the primary one for the party, occasionally swapping out with Rikki.
- Kleptomaniac Hero: Initially intended to rob Relics and Rarities, and steals the entire contents of Akiva's safe.
- Like Brother and Sister: Has shades of this with Rikki- they even hold hands as they jump into the water!
- Master of Disguise: Is very adept at disguising herself using makeup.
The allies of the R&R brigade- one off characters played by celebrity guests.
Allister Goldfang
Played by: Matthew Lillard
A dragonborn gold sorcerer who accompanies the party to Benthem Manor.
- Deadpan Snarker: Particularly towards Veros, whom he refers to as 'pretty boy'.
- Brave Scot: Speaks with a Scottish accent and announces that he would lay down his life for Beryl.
- I See Dead People: His specialty- often accompanied by Ominous Latin Chanting.
- Ritual Magic: Appears to do this in order to communicate with spirits.
Ionis Leatherfoot
Played by: Same Richardson
A gnomish ranger who guides the party through Briarcleft Forest, accompanied by his panther, Mr. Fluffy.
- Cold Sniper: Averted- Ionis is personable and goofy.
- Loyal Animal Companion: Mr. Fluffy is this, trusting Ionis enough to ride on his back
- So Much for Stealth: Attempts to sneak up on the Pineswallow Valley camp, but accidentally steps on some twigs, blowing his cover.
Seamus O'Flanagan (aka The Cabin Hand)
Played by: Charlie Cox
A half-elven rogue and pirate, who assists the party in infiltrating Dr. Akiva.
- Actor Allusion: Many viewers have noted the similarities between Seamus and Charlie's character on Boardwalk Empire, Owen Sleater.
- Awesome Mc Coolname: Both his name and his nickname are pretty badass.
- Oireland: Acknowledged as such in universe.
- Knife Nut: Played with- knives aren't his weapon of choice, but he does seem quite particular over the way he uses them, such as debating with himself over how many to use to slit a throat.
- Rape, Pillage, and Burn: Subverted- Seamus is a rather likable individual, and is never mentioned as doing any of these things besides pillaging.
- Slashed Throat: Attempts this on one of the gilly-men. It doesn't go quite as planned.
- The Trickster: Follows the arcane trickster archetype of the rogue, giving him the ability to use magic while remaining stealthy and quick.
Mumeé
Played by: Janina Gavankar
A half-elven rogue tomb raider, who helps the party in raiding King Senna's Tomb.
- Blue Blood: Lived on the streets growing up, before discovering her royal ancestry- something she apparently resents Veros for.
